There had been something that had been bugging Odette for months on end. She had finally reached a point in her life in which she was finally happy with herself and yet despite all that, there was still something missing. Romeo had joked that it was because she had his life that was practically brand new and shiny and no one to really share it with. Odette had rolled her eyes at the comment, dragging her brother down to her level by swinging her arm around her neck and pulling him into a headlock. Not yet, she had told him, still needing a little more time to make sure she was ready─ which was bullshit, but something that Odette refused to get into thanks to her own stubbornness. But also, Odette understood in order to be happy, that she didn't need someone else there. Although it would be nice.
