Things were weird.
Well, not really, but in a way that Odette couldn't really explain, when she knew that things were different ever since that night with Eddie and yet, nothing had. It had been something she had talked to Ivy about, rambling about the entire situation and worrying about the possibility of her saying something in her sleep that might've said something that she never would've allowed herself to say to his face. And it wasn't as if she could have just asked him because then he would know that there were things that she refused to tell him. Ivy had told her that maybe it wasn't a bad thing, that it would be the opening for Odette to just tell him. But Odette couldn't do that. With Eddie going out on dates, it was a clear sign that he had moved on, or at least was trying to, Odette didn't want to ruin that─ she did, but she wasn't going to admit that.
