( INTERVIEWER: What were you doing while everyone was on tour?
ODETTE: This is your way of asking about the goddamn painting, isn't it? [ Pause ] I don't know why I decided to paint the band, maybe it was because Warren kept joking about me doing it─ always asking me if they were famous enough to be painted by me. The first night they were gone, I just thought fuck it, I had pages of drawings of them, and it wasn't hard to ask Camila for photos of Billy she had so I could learn how to draw him. It didn't make it easier.
