As the morning sun filtered through the curtains, Namjoon sat at the edge of his bed, lost in thought... A sense of restlessness had been building within him, an inexplicable tug that seemed to originate from deep within his being... He rubbed his temples, trying to shake off the strange sensations...

With a sigh, he walked out of his room, making his way towards the dining room where he knows everyone will be present... "Good morning Namjoon-ah... Happiest 20th Birthday my baby" Mrs. Kim kissed her son's forehead... She is the most excited one to know about her son's status...

And just a few months ago, everyone was indeed surprised when Hoseok showed up wearing a similar pendant but the stone was red

Only to make his parents gasp while Namjoon started at the pendant with wide eyes, filled with horror

"Th-this ca-an't be... I refuse to accept this..." He stutters looking at the pendant with pure horror "How can I be an Ome-omega I...I am supposed to be an Alpha right" he looked at his parents who were looking at it with the same wide eyes not believing their son's status

Mrs. Kim cleared her throat... "It's okay baby... I understand that Alphas are leaders and protectors but Omegas are empathetic, nurturing, and have a unique connection to emotions... We play a crucial role in maintaining harmony among the dynamics... We are equally important to this world, right Jagi?" Mr. Kim who was a bit disappointed by the news still managed to smile "Yes dear... It's okay... your status doesn't change anything... You will always have our support" But that only made Namjoon burst into tears " But i have leadership qualities... I have the capacity to protect myself and the people around me... I am not accepting this I won't accept it... It's some sort of a mistake... I can't be an Omega" He never felt this helpless in life...

Seokjin gently pulled his parents away from the younger male and hugged him... He knows what his brother must be going through... Since their childhood, his parents thought that Namjoon will be an alpha and he was constantly pushed to think and behave like one... There is nothing wrong in it but the thing they never prepared him for what if Namjoon turns out to be an omega? Nobody ever thought about it which brought them to the situation where Namjoon is not ready to accept his fate... "Want to go in the room, bub?" Seokjin softly asked while holding his brother tightly

Namjoon nodded his head while crying silently... Seokjin took him to his room and got a glass of water for him after making him seated.... "Please stop crying bub, you will fall sick" he said while gently wiping his brother's tears who just kept on crying his heart out "Why me, Hyung? From what angle do I look like an Omega to you? I can't believe this" Namjoon's voice was dejected... There was so much pain that words won't be able to describe... Seokjin sighed and sat beside him and held Namjoon's hand... "I understand that all of this is too much for you to take in but... we can't change the destiny... Your first heat will approach in no time... I want to be here for you, to help you understand and guide you through it... I know we don't spend most of our time together but always remember that your Hyung will be here for you... Whenever you need me... And being Omega is not that bad..."

Namjoon sniffed while looking at his elder brother "thanks for the first part but I don't agree and will never agree with the second" he concluded with a big pout before snuggling closer to his brother... Even though this information is just too hard to digest still his brother's hugs have the magical powers to make him feel better in every situation... Only he knows how much he missed his brother's attention from all these years "You agree or not... Reality won't change, Bub... You are an Omega... Look at this beautiful pendant... It is shining so- Oh my fucking four fucks" SeokJin yelled while looking at Namjoon's pendant carefully

Namjoon flinched at sudden yell "What the hell hyung" he glared at his elder brother with a big pout on his face... Seokjin looked at Namjoon and then back at pendant before reaching out for his phone and started searching for something... When he found it, SeokJin gasped... "If you thought being Omega was bad..." He turned the phone in Namjoon's direction
