The flower theory.
Like a plant, people grow,
From a small sprout,
To a large sunflower.
Haven't you noticed that the prettiest flowers get picked?
But once they get picked, they die, but it's worth dying, right?
To die because you were so pretty, so.. Perfect,
That you the flower would get picked,
Just because someone thought you were good enough.
But what about the "ugly" flowers?
They just sit there and watch their beautiful fellow flowers get picked while they are out there waiting for someone to notice them.
But still, nobody does.
And when it's their time to die, to rot.
They will know their whole life was just them sitting there watching all the pretty flowers get chosen and not them.
Though it's different for everything, that's just one theory. There can be "ugly" flowers that get chosen and thrown into the trash just to let the pretty flowers live and make their garden pretty. That's what I feel like, the ugly flower nobody wants or picks.
