I tried.

I tried. Those words, those words can bring disappointment or happiness, only to others. But what about you?

"I tried." you must've felt the feeling that you could've done better but you either couldn't or didn't know how.

You did an assignment, It took forever, you turn it in and in your head, it's either wow! I did well. Or, Shoot, I've done badly.

But no, in this case, it's I tried, you tried what? You tried to do good but what? Failed. Or did you try to do good to make a person or to make people happy but fail?

You tried. Tried. Knowing that you tried, you put a smile on your face but until someone, someone whom you care about, and what they have to say about your work.

The smile on your face is either going to be accurate or it's going to turn into a frown.
For me "I tried." is just a word to make myself feel at least a bit of happiness about what I have done but never feel fully complete because there must've been something I could've done that would make it better.

I tried, didn't I?
