Betrayal is a bitter pill to swallow
A former friend, who caused such sorrow
Yet suddenly they're back together
Leaving behind past mistakes forever
But it seems I was the source of divide
Their friendship rekindled on the other side
And now I'm left to wonder why
The cost of losing a friend is high
But maybe it's time to say goodbye
And move on to a brighter sky
