"So...uh you guys wanna hangout in my room?" Walker asks us.
"Yeah" I say
"Sure" says Aryan
"Not really but okay" McKenna says.
We file into his room Aryan, then McKenna, then me, then Walker . It smells great, purely because it smells like him-but still!
As we walk to his couch he puts his hand on my back, woah.
Okay dude.
When McKenna turns around he takes it off and sits down though. Blah!
I sit next to Walker and across from McKenna.
☂️after a few minutes of talking ☂️
"So...truth or dare?" Aryan asks
"NOPE!" McKenna says
"ABSOLUTELY NOT." I yell in addition
"Jeeeeezzzzz! Okay!" He says
"What do we do now?" He follows up with
"Maybe w-" he Walker starts but stops when the lights in his room go off and we're left in pitch blackness.
We all yell and I jump, somehow Walker finds my hand and grabs it. We're in the dark, so I don't care and scoot in next to him.
"Okay...uh so look like the power is um..out." Walker says
"Okay. That's fine, our eyes are gonna adjust in a minute"
Walker and I scoot back from each other, but he keeps his hand over mine.
"So then we can get up and grab our phones or something..." McKenna says.
"Okay" I say and sigh.
"Okay, uhh so...nice weather we're having" Aryan says
"Shut the fuck up Aryan" Walker says while laughing.
"Ooo I want hot chocolate" McKenna says and I sorta-see her stand up.
"Can I come?!" Aryan asks
"Um, DUH! you guys wanna come too?" She asks us
"I have my smoothieee!" I say to her
"It's okay pookie we'll be back in a minute." Aryan says as they exit the room.
Walker and I sit in silence for a second.
"So..." he says.
"H-how are you?" He stumbles out.
I laugh "good? Yourself?" I ask
"I'm great. Real great. Yup." He says.
"So...movies lookin' good." I say
"Yeah, I like the part where I say I'm going to public school and we meet Maggie and Theo. They're cool." He replies
I scoot closer to him again. "Hey sweetheart" he says and I roll my eyes at him
"Hey, what'd I say about that?! They'll get stuck!" He says and laughs.
"shut up Walker!" I say back. Then I am taken a back by him kissing me.
I put one hand on his cheek and he wraps his arms around my waist.
"Um...can we like...be boyfriend and girlfriend?" He asks me cautiously.
"Yes." I say quickly and he goes back to kissing me.
While this still feels wrong, I wish it wasn't. I don't necessarily think this is wrong itself, his parents don't know though. We're not even "officially dating" to McKenna and Aryan either.
Not to mention the entire internet thinks we hate eachother.
Eh, who cares about the internet?
I put my other hand in his hair,
But just then I hear Aryan shout
"What the hell?!"
Oh shit.
