Kylie was currently in her room as she was doing some homework as Ghost was sleeping on the floor as he was quite tired and Kylie could tell as Kylie then heard her phone ringing as she then put her pencil down and looked at her phone to see who was calling as she saw the caller ID was MJ as she then picked up "Hey, MJ, what's up?" Kylie had asked as she heard MJ's voice on the other line "Liz and the others have come with a plan to sneak Ghost on the field trip." "Thanks, MJ, so tell me plan, so I can remember." Kylie had said
Kylie was walking towards Midtown High, with her carrying her black jansport backpack as Ghost was walking by her side as Kylie had packed everything she needed in her backpack as her mother knew she was going out of town to DC since she told her mother, the day before, as her mother knew, Kylie then heard Deyanira talking in her head "What's so good about going to some decathlon, when you can just stay at home and learn to use your symbiotic abilities" "Because my friend, ask me, plus she and the others are helping me sneak Ghost on this field trip, so yeah." Kylie was behind the bus that was at the school as she then told Ghost "Stay, here and wait for my signal." Ghost then sat down as Kylie then walked up towards MJ who was reading a book "Hey, MJ." Kylie had said "Hey, Ky." MJ had said back as she also added "You got the plan right?" "Yeah." Kylie had said as Abe then spoke up "Hey, It's Peter."
Kylie saw Peter Parker running towards the group as he stopped in front of Liz as she turned to face him "Peter?" Liz had said as Peter said "Yeah, I was hoping that I could maybe rejoin the team." "No. No way, you can't just quit on us, stroll up and be welcomed back by everyone." Flash had said as Mr.Harrington exited the bus as he said "Hey, welcome back, Peter. Flash, you're can to first alternates."
"Wait, what?" Flash had asked as he was in shock "He is taking your place."Kylie had spoken up as MJ also spoken up saying "Excuse me, can we go already? I was hoping to get in some protesting in front of an embassy with Kylie before dinner." "Protesting is patriotic, let's get on the bus." Mr.Harrington had said as Flash took off and threw his jacket for then decathlon at Peter
Everyone started to enter the bus as Kylie saw both Mr.Harrington and the bus driver getting off the bus as Mr.Harrington said "We both have to use the bathroom, really quick, so get on the bus and get settled in" as Kylie saw then go into the school as she then waved at Ghost to come as he got up as he entered the bus with Kylie following right behind him
Ghost went to the very back of the bus and hid there as Kylie then went towards where he was and knelt down and said "Once we get to D.C, when the bus driver gets off or falls asleep, get off the bus and hide as I will come back outside in the evening and find you." Kylie had explained the Ghost as Kylie then walked up towards MJ was sitting and sat next to her
A few minutes went by as Mr.Harrington and the bus driver came back as the bus then left for D.C as Liz then started to give the group questions so that they would be ready for the decathlon that was tomorrow in D.C, as for Kylie is was just listening to The Weeknd mixed with SZA and Chase Atlantic in her playlist that she had as she was just listening to it with one earphone in as MJ who was sitting next to her was reading a book as Ghost was hiding and laying down in the back as he didn't really like the bus ride that much but he just stayed there
"Focus up, our next topic is moons of Saturn." Liz had said as she began reading the flashcards as Kylie's classmates were ringing the bell as Liz had asked the next question "The second law of thermodynamics." One person had said as she rung the bell "Frank Sinatra." Another person had said ringing the bell as Flash had rung the bell as he said "Fort Sumter." "Flash is wrong." Abe had said when he had rung the bell "Okay, let's focus. Next one." Liz had said "Liz, don't overwork them." Mr.Harrington had said
"Uh, strontium, barium, vibranium." Peter had said when he rung the bell "Very good, Peter. Glad to have you back." Liz had said "Glad to be back." Peter had said as his phone starting buzzing "What is the current standard unit of—-." Liz had began to ask when Peter interrupted and said "Can I take this real quick." as Kylie and MJ watched Peter get up and go to the back of the bus as he had picked up the phone call he was getting
About an hour later the bus had arrived at the Academic Decathlon, as they started to get off the bus as Kylie quickly looked back at the bus as she saw Ghost still hiding in the back as she knew that he knew what to do, as Kylie was carrying her black jansport backpack as MJ was right by her side still reading her book
Kylie and her classmates entered the hotel building which was huge inside "Everyone stick together." Liz had said as a one of the students named Chase said "Are you kidding me, this place is huge." "I've seen bigger." Flash had said "There's a bird in here." Abe had said
It was later in the evening as Kylie was sharing a hotel room with MJ as Kylie grabbed her phone and put it in her back pocket as she exited the hotel room and quietly made her way down as she exited and went outside as she then whispered "Ghost, where are you?" as she then saw Ghost appearing from behind a wall as she then said "Follow me."
Ghost then went towards her as a followed her inside, as she went upstairs as she then ran into Peter Parker, who was exiting his hotel room "Hey, Kylie." Peter had said "Hi." Kylie had said back as it was awkward silence for a few moments before Kylie spoke and asked him "Where are you even going?" as she had noticed the backpack that he was carrying on his shoulder
"I was, uh—- I was goons go study in the business center." Peter had said as he somewhat stuttered with his words, "Peter Parker, you are one of the smartest people in the school, there's no need for you to study." Kylie had said as Ghost turned his head to the side as he was curious as Peter noticed Ghost "Why do you have—-." Peter began to say before Kylie cut him off
"Umm, this is Ghost, he is my dog. Liz, MJ and the others had a plan to sneak him on the trip because he is very attracted to me and I couldn't just leave him home alone since my mom doesn't get home until later." Kylie had explained to Peter as she also added "Please, don't tell Mr.Harrington." "I won't, I'm not that guy who tells." Peter had responded "Thanks, got to go, before someone sees Ghost." Kylie had said as she added "Bye."
She and Ghost then walked back towards her hotel room that she shared with MJ as she opened the door as Ghost entered as she then did as she closed the door behind her as Ghost went towards a bed and jumped on it as he then laid down and fell asleep as Kylie saw a note on the desk that was in the hotel room as she read it:
'Hey, me and the others are at the pool, come if you want, MJ.'
Kylie then left the hotel room and left Ghost in peace, to sleep as she then went down towards the pool that was in the hotel building as she entered and saw MJ sitting in a chair and went to sit next to her as MJ was reading a book "You got Ghost, inside, without noticing?" "Yeah." Kylie had replied
As who knew that the next day would be panic and chaos
