It was the next morning as Kylie had already gotten ready for the Academic Decathlon as MJ was also up and ready also as Kylie saw Ghost who was still sleeping as she then petted his head and she and MJ then exited the hotel room and meet up with Liz as MJ was just reading her book as Liz asked "You two ready?" "Yeah." Kylie has said as Liz then knocked on Peter and Ned hotel door room "Ned, are you and Peter ready to go?" Liz had asked when she knocked on the door
Kylie could heard Ned say vaguely "okay, uh, hold on." Kylie and MJ then held downstairs to meet the others as Kylie saw Ned come down but Peter wasn't with him as Kylie then remember how she snuck out last night as he bumped into her so she knew he was doing Spider-Man things and the reason why he came here last minute the other day
As they all then made they way to the stage where the Academic Decathlon was as Kylie then went towards Ned and asked him in a whispering tone "Is Peter off doing Spider-Man?" Ned then looked at her as he then remember back at the high school how she had heard Peter saying he was Spider-Man as he then said back in a whispering tone "yeah, he is."
The speaker then went off saying "please make sure you turn off all cell phones and place them in the bin when entering and make sure they are all are silent, muted and turned off." Kylie then put her cell phone on silent as she placed it in the bin as she went on stage as she and MJ were sitting next to each other as the woman on the podium on the stage said "Welcome to the United States Academic Decathlon. Please make sure all cell phones and other electronic devices are turned off and muted. We will began the first event, Science."
They then all began to write on the paper that was in front of them as Kylie heard Deyanira's voice in her head "I bet I could do this with my eyes closed."Kylie didn't say anything as she just focused on her paper and nothing else as Deyanira added "Rude." since Kylie didn't respond to what Deyanira said
After Science was done and complete the woman on the podium then said "We have now entered sudden death. The next correct answer wins the championship." As the woman then gave the question out as Kylie then began to solve it as she then hit the red buzzer that was on the table "Midtown Tech?" The woman said on the podium as Kylie said "Zero" "Midtown takes the championship." The woman on the podium said as the entire team celebrated as they hugged Kylie as MJ said "nice one." in a nonchalantly tone of voice
Kylie and the others made there way outside towards Washington Monument as Flash cheered "Whoo-Woo, We won." as he held the trophy over his head as Liz said "You guys, I am so proud of you." as Flash also added "Told you, we didn't need Peter." "You didn't even answer a single question, Flash." Kylie had said
