While in India for a crucial business meeting, fate granted me the opportunity to meet two influential individuals, Mr. Thakur and Mr. Malhotra ; the top businessman in India. Little did I know, this encounter would shape the trajectory of my professional and personal life. During our discussions, they mentioned that their daughters, including Adira, were poised to join my company in Greece as designers. The mere thought of Adira's arrival filled me with a mix of excitement and apprehension.

As I reviewed the designs they had submitted online, I was utterly captivated by their creativity and innovation. Adira's work, in particular, stood out, evoking a sense of awe and admiration within me. Each design seemed to bear her unique imprint, a testament to her talent and vision. However, I was equally impressed by the designs of Avani, Mr. Malhotra's daughter. Her creations exuded a different yet equally compelling charm, showcasing her distinct artistic flair.

Despite my eagerness to welcome Adira and Avani with open arms, Mr. Thakur cautioned against rushing the process. His concern was understandable; he didn't want Adira or Avani to feel as though they had been given preferential treatment because of our family connection. Our fathers ( our reffers to Aiden , Adira and Avani ) are childhood friends and the used to study together and they were good friends. Once we three also meet in my house . I was 15 at that time .

Reflecting on my history with Adira, memories flooded back to the time when we first crossed paths. She was just a young girl, full of curiosity and vitality. Her presence left an indelible mark on my heart, igniting a flame of admiration that has endured over the years. The image of her taking my hand and playfully exploring my house remains etched in my mind, a cherished moment of innocence and joy.

Now, as the prospect of her imminent arrival looms large, I find myself grappling with a whirlwind of emotions. Beyond the realm of professional obligations, Adira's return symbolizes a chance to revisit the past and perhaps, dare I say, explore the possibilities of the future.

Present day

I arrived in India yesterday evening with Lucas, my personal assistant. We met with Mr. Thakur and Mr. Malhotra yesterday to discuss business matters. Despite their familiarity with my family through my father, they showed genuine interest in learning more about my company, wanting to delve into every detail.

Understandably so, considering their daughters will soon be joining my company. My father even extended an invitation for them to join us for lunch this weekend, insisting that I attend as well. Typically, I seldom visit my parents, as I reside in an apartment with Ricky, my best friend and company director. I've decided to bring him along to the lunch-it'll be beneficial for both of us.

I rose from bed and headed to the bathroom, quickly brushing my teeth and taking a brief shower. It was already 7:00 am, and the meeting was scheduled for 8:00 am. With my departure for Greece looming and a flight scheduled for 12:00 pm, time was of the essence.
