"It's good to see the light of day once more" Ash said "yeah but being in the dark for so long makes it so much more brighter" Addison said
"So anyway we should probably go to the cerulean city gym to get your next badge Ash" Orion said
"yeah we should-" Ash said as he then noticed a girl sitting down fishing with a sad face
"actually you guys go ahead of me I just need to do something real quick" Ash said
"Um okay dude we'll see you their" Orion said as him and Addison left while Ash went to the sad girl

"Hey there, why are you so sad?" Ash asked as he sat down next to the girl.
"Oh um it's nothing." She said
"C'mon you can tell me. Listen if you don't trust me how about I introduce myself, I'm Ash Ketchum and I'm someone who wants to help you" Ash said
"Well my Name's Misty, Misty Waterflower" She said
"Wait, Waterflower is the last name of the three sensational Cerulean sister's, are you related to them?" Ash asked
"Well yeah their my sister and that's actually my problem" Misty said
"How come I mean your sisters are really popular" Ash said
"Well that's because I'm always compared with them and I never get to battle because my sister's only care about their beauty more than actually doing their job" Misty said
"Wait but isn't the point of a gym leader is to be a challenge for trainers" Ash said
"that's what I told them but they didn't care what I said" Misty said
"Well I'm going to go their for my next gym and if your strong, why don't I battle you instead" Ash said
"Wait you'd wanna battle me" Misty said
"Yeah after all I don't think that looks should matter for pokemon battles unless your a coordinate but strength is what should matter" Ash said
"Well thanks Ash so why don't we go to the Cerulean gym" Misty sad as she got up
"yeah let's go" Ash said as he sat up and the two left to the gym
When they got to the gym they saw Orion and Addison arguing with three girls
"Why does Ash have to wait till tomorrow to fight the gym battle we're still in broad daylight" Orion said
"we would be fine to battle him but we were just defeated by 3 trainers from pallet town" Daisy said
