{Few Days Later/Simon's POV}

"SIMON! EVERYONE IN THE SIDEMEN FANDOM THINK YOU AND THAT GIRL ARE DATING SINCE THE DAY JJ POSTED THE PICTURE WHICH HE STILL HASN'T TAKE DOWN" Maya shouted

"FOR GOD'S SAKE, ME AND TAMI ARE NOT DATING. EVERYONE IN THE FANDOM KNOWS THAT" I shouted, me and her have been arguing about the same thing for the last few minutes. Maya wasn't happy with the fact that I took Tami shopping even tho I told her that JJ was with us, she's not happy with the picture and finally she isn't happy with the hate fans send her

"SIMON, YOUR FANS HATE ME BECAUSE THEY WANT YOU DATING HER" Maya shouted

"SHE HAS A NAME AND TAMI IS MY BEST FRIEND! JUST A FRIEND" I shouted, Maya looked at me before storming out my room and down the stairs. My fingers curled into my hand and anger took over, why can't she just bloody understand that me and Tami are nothing more than friends? These stupid little fights are the reason why I don't do relationships. I pushed my gaming chair over before dropping to my bed while trying to fight the urge of breaking something. I heard a soft knock on my door

"Go away" I mumbled but the door opened instead

"Simon?" I heard someone say softly, that voice, she was here. I looked over to see Tami stood in the doorway awkwardly while biting her lips, she's been coming over lately before work with food or just to make sure we are ok before going to work but I have also been giving her lifts to work and back. I looked at what she was wearing; she had a mini skirt with a tank top, flats and beanie (MEDIA). For some odd reason anger built inside me again and the next thing I knew was that I had pushed Tami against the closet and trapped her between me and the closet 

"Get. Out" I growled, Tami looked at me and I saw fear in her eyes but she didn't move 

"No" Tami said softly 

"GET OUT" I shouted and slammed my fist against the closet just next to her head, Tami jumped a little but still didn't move 

"I-I'm not leaving, you're upset. I grow up with you Simon, I know you better than anyone. I was friends with you before JJ, I was there when you guys hated each other. I'm not leaving" Tami said with a bit more confidence 

"Leave before I hurt you" I growled

"Y-you wouldn't hurt me, not after what Aidan did" Tami said and that's when I softened, Aidan was Tami's ex from college. He hurt Tami physically, emotionally and mentally when they dated; no one knew about it, not even me or JJ. We found out after Tami was forcefully moved into his place, me and JJ went to see her when Aidan got back home earlier than he was meant to. Tami pushed us into the closet and told us to stay quiet but left the closet door open a little, she stayed in the room and Aidan came up. He started to shout at her before hitting her until he grabbed her hair and dragged her out, that's when me and JJ jumped out the closet and saved Tami before hurting Aidan. That was the day I got my confidence but also physically hurt someone, me and JJ swore we would never physically lay a hand on Tami when we are angry or upset. In a joking manner we would but when it's something serious then we never did  

"I-I know you would never hit me, you and JJ swore you wouldn't out of anger. S-Simon, you've never hit a girl in your life, are you really going to start now?" Tami asked and I could see tears forming in her eyes, I slowly moved away from her 

"No, I'm not" I said before sitting down on my bed, I placed my head in my hands and sighed. I almost hurt her, I almost let my anger get the best of me. I felt Tami sit down beside me and her hand rested on my shoulder

"W-what happened between you and Maya? W-why was there shouting?" Tami asked, I looked up and at her 

{Tami's POV)

"She's getting hate from the fans but also believes that we are dating when we are nothing more than friends" Simon said, well that just hurt. I felt my heart break a little as the words 'nothing more than friends' echoed in my head 

"W-why do the fans hate her?" I asked trying to forget about the words echoing in my head 

"Because they think she is getting in the way of us getting together" Simon said 

"Oh, erm... Why do they think that?" I asked 

"Because of the picture JJ posted" Simon said 

"Oh" I said, it was quiet after that and no one said anything 

"I should be heading to work now" I said and stood up

"I'll drive you" Simon said and stood up 

"No, it's fine. I'll get JJ to drive me, you need some space" I said before quickly leaving the room, I went downstairs to JJ's room and knocked before going in. JJ looked at me from his desk 

"C-can you drive me to work?" I asked, JJ frowned 

"I thought Simon was driving you" JJ said before saving his work and standing up, I shook my head and tears filled my eyes which JJ saw

"Hey, what happened?" JJ asked before coming over 

"Simon and Maya got into a fight because of me. H-he almost hit me until I reminded him about Aidan. He said that me and him will never be anything more than friends. J-JJ, I've got a stupid crush on him and he doesn't even know it" I said, JJ stared at me in shock 

"S-Simon almost hit you?" JJ asked and I nodded, he pulled her into a hug 

"Your crush on Simon isn't stupid, he needs to open his eyes and see what he is missing out" JJ said, I pulled away from the hug and sniffed

"Can we please just leave? I don't want to be late" I said changing subject

"Yea, let me put my shoes on then grab my keys" JJ said 

"Ok, I'll be downstairs" I said before going downstairs and waited for JJ. Today will be a lot longer than I thought...
