He listened to all my favourite songs and wrote down a piece of lyrics that struck him in that particular song. He folded the piece of paper and placed it in a jar. Finally one day when he managed to fill up the jar completely, he gave it to me and said,

" Here's a jar filled with lyrics to your Favourite songs. Take one out when you need something to make you smile."

I didn't quite get it and I left it at the side of my desk for weeks till one day I needed something to make me smile. I opened the jar and pulled it a note. It said,

" If I lay here
If I just lay here
Would you lie with me
And just forget the world?"

I flipped the paper and it wrote,
" When I first heard this song , this part to be exact, I thought of you. I thought maybe we could lie down and just forget the world together. I know you need an escape from reality and so do I. But I guess if you are reading this, things will get better. You can always talk to me. "

I folded the paper and placed it back into that jar. That was beautiful because those were the exact thoughts I had when I first heard the song. Maybe I had someone that could understand me after all. The next day at school I waited for him. But he didn't turn up. The following day, he didn't turn up as well.

It's been a week now, and I'm standing in front of his grave.

And you know hurts the most ? He tried to save me but I couldn't save him.
