It's really saddening to hear people say, " I wish we didn't drift apart" or " I wish we could start afresh" because if you meant alot to someone, they will never let you go. They will fight for you and go through hell just to keep you. It's really sucks to say this but if they didn't fight for you and just leave, let them go because you weren't worth their time and they certainly aren't worth yours.
