Jealousy is the Devil's Whisper

There's a little house by the old road
can you see it?
I do
not everybody can
it's true.
it's haunted, they say
a ghost roams a its will
inside and outside parades
it's a lady's spirit
that finds no rest
after her husband killed her
he stabbed her chest
the poor lady died there
her heart bleeding to death
the man kissed her forehead
when she gave her last breath.
you could only be mine, he said
before killing himself
she was young, he was old
she was charming and bold
he went straight to hell
jealousy is the Devil's whisper
and next to him you'll dwell
poor sweet lady, you will see her
crying by the water well
her dress is stained in crimson
eyes pitch black, pallid face
little house an eternal prison
to a life that stopped its pace.
