Let Me Drag the Moon

Let me drag the moon
with a fishing rod
do you see it brother
mirrored on the pond?

she stands like a goddess
up above the sky
where the black has freckles
in the starry night.

maybe we can climb up
the mother's hills-breasts
to reach with our fingers
her silvery surface.

look at the fireflies
swirling up in lines!
is there where they get
their flickering lights?

brother, we can build a ladder
with the river reeds!
to see what it's made of
to grab it a piece.

later we will come back
when the moon is ebbed
we surely could climb up
to cradle on its bed.
