she was told to be a bubbly person,
a happy and lovable being.
but inside she was hurting
by the catastrophe those fail to see.
she hides quivering lips behind that awkward smile,
hoping that someday, someone
will notice the pain from a mile.
her once shining heart
is now dim.
see those pieces smashed apart?
thats her heart, always so slim.
her sleepless nights
everyone worried.
so she smiled,
and told everyone its okay.
while deep inside,
she waited for someone's company.
she was told to be a bubbly person,
a happy and lovable being.
she accepted that name
as she knew the pain would never be seen.
