in the midst of screams,
curses and cries
she's motioned to her room
and locks herself in.
she hears as the woman
pleads for him,
and how the boy
yells for an escape.
she hears as the woman
tells him how much
she loves him and how
scared she is to lose him.
she hears the boy's
profanities and curses.
how he says how much
he wants to leave.
she hears everything.
yet,
she's chained up in her room
by her own will.
she's chained up.
she's pleading for the key
to escape and help them.
to help her colliding family.
