You're About To Get Married To Someone Else, But He's Your Best Friend And He Loves You... (PART 2)

Niall: "Shit, Niall," you whisper, shutting your eyes. "You can't do this to me, I'm about to get married for Christ's sake." He sighs and looks at you apologetically. "I know, God...I'm sorry, I just..." he looks down at his shoes and you reach out and tilt his face towards yours, staring right into his blue eyes. "Why couldn't you have told me this a long time ago?" you say softly. He shakes his head. "I was afraid I..." You cut him off by pressing your lips against his and after a moment you pull away. "Because now I have to cancel all these flowers and cakes and wedding plans and..." you begin. He looks at you, shocked. "Niall, I've been in love you with you, too. But I never thought you felt the same. So I settled. I settled for Jack, when Jack asked me to marry him, I said yes. Because I wanted a wedding and a husband," you explain. "But...I don't know what I want anymore, all I know is that...I want you, Niall. I love you and I always have." He wraps you in his arms and you sigh. "I guess I should be telling Jack, then."

Zayn: "Zayn! Get back here!" you hold up the hem of the white gown and grab his wrist just before he leaves. He turns and looks at you, eyes filled with pain. "I never should have told you that and dropped all those...emotions on you like that, I'm sorry, just forget it," he mumbles. "Zayn, I CAN'T forget it. Because you want to know the truth?" you sigh and take both of his hands in yours, running your fingers across his toffee skin. "Seeing myself in all these wedding dresses...I keep picturing you being the one waiting for me at the end of the aisle, and you being the one who says 'I do' and I tried to push it away from my mind, because I'm marrying someone else and not YOU," you say softly, a tear sliding down you cheek. "But the thoughts won't go AWAY. Because my mind is telling me to marry this guy and settle, but my heart is telling me it's not how it's supposed to be and..." He cuts you off with his lips meeting yours. "Because maybe we were meant to be all along," you say softly once you two break apart from the kiss. "I can't go through with this wedding, Zayn. Because you're not going to be the one who says 'I do'."

Liam: The people on the street look at you with worry and fear. Is she crazy? Is she late for her wedding? A blur of white, running down the streets in heels and a wedding gown. But you're not crazy or late, you're doing something you should've done a long time ago. As you knock on the door to his flat, you brush away the worry. What will your family think? Rob's family? You'll get a bad reputation...the beautiful wedding with no bride...But when Liam opens the door, his eyes bloodshot and his hair a mess you push away the doubts. Because what good is a beautiful wedding if you don't truly love the groom. What good is a beautiful wedding if Liam isn't waiting at the end of the aisle. He gasps when he sees you and you quickly repeat part of his letter and change around the words. "Because I can't watch myself walk down the aisle and marry someone who isn't you," you whisper. He wraps his arms around you, your white gown scratching his skin and you kiss. A kiss that sends fireworks to your heart, sparks through your veins. A kiss that was meant to be. And you feel bad for Rob for a second, but you think he'll understand. You hope he'll understand. And if he doesn't, it doesn't matter. Because you've got Liam and Liam's got you.

Harry: You don't reply, you just run to your bedroom and leave him sitting there in silence. You go to your jewelry box and find what you're looking for. Then return and he's sitting there, head in his hands. "I'm a fucking idiot, (Y/N). I..." he looks up when he hears your footsteps and you hold out the tiny plastic piece in your hand. The ring from a long time ago, the same as his but silver and blue. "I still have mine, too, Harry," you whisper. You slide the plastic ring on his finger and it hardly fits and then you slide the diamond piece off your hand and set it on the table. That engagement ring was beautiful and shiny and sparkly and a promise of a life with a man you loved, but not really. And as Harry slides his plastic ring on your finger, it's certainly not a beautiful diamond one. But it's a promise of a life with a man you loved, that you REALLY loved. "I can't believe you kept it," he says softly. "I can't believe you waited this long to tell me this, ass hole," you laugh and wipe a tear from your cheek. He smiles brightly and you both lean in for a kiss that should've happened a long time ago. A kiss, the first of many more to come.

Louis: "How could you fucking DO THIS to me, Lou?" you shout, backing away from him, tears freely falling. "(Y/N), I'm sorry, I-" he looks at you and you shake your head. "How the hell am I supposed to go out there and get married, huh? The boy I've loved since I was twelve just comes in and confesses his love for me. A boy who I'd loved and pushed all the feelings aside because I knew he didn't feel the same," you sniff. "But what do I know? Because apparently he does. And apparently the feelings never went away..." You shake your heads and Louis smiles slowly. "So, is that a yes? Does that mean you love me, too?" he asks quietly. "It means I love you too and now I have to walk out on this wedding and look like an awful person...I hate you Tomlinson," you smile slightly and brush away a tear. "I hate that I love you, but I love you anyway."
