"Morning and Night"
The sun shines with bright, contrasting colors.
I can feel the calm, gentle breeze blowing.
Nature shows its beauty with lovely, alluring flowers,
And I thank God for this wonderful morning.
Nature all around us is brimming with life.
Oh how I wish life would be like this!
We would be living without hardship nor strife
If life were peaceful and filled with bliss.
The moon glows in the elegant, night sky.
Hundreds of fireflies are flying by.
They glow with such luminosity
That it simply piques my curiosity.
In the sky I see a lot of constellations.
I see Big Bear, Lil' Dipper, and Orion!
I wish to spot Aries, Taurus, and Scorpius
Along with Gemini, Leo, and Saggitarius!
Oh, life has so many things to discover;
Many treasures are waiting to be uncovered.
As I lay on the grass, I wonder what's next.
I may not know, but God's in charge of the rest.
