Today is Janelle's fourteenth birthday!
I can see her walking along,
Smiling sweetly and singing a song.
Her serene smile makes my day.
My day's always enlightened, I must say.
She'll cheer you up if you put up a frown;
She'll help you out if you fall on the ground.
Her favorites are of the color pink.
Oh, so many things, let me think.
There's piggy umbrella, watches,
Hair tie, highlighter, and glasses!
She is such a sweet, dear friend
Not because of her fashion trend.
If you're in trouble, she'll lend a hand.
She'll help you till the end of your life span.
I want to be classmates with her next year.
I hope our friendship will never tear.
May the bond be always cherished,
Never be severed nor will it perish.
