The next few days were normal. I went to school, did my homework, hung out with friends. Peter swung around the city saving people and still managed to show up to school every morning. It was now Wendsday morning, the day Elise and her family are coming to New York to stay with us for about a week and a half while her school is on a fall break. My mom and Aunt May are allowing us to skip school today to go pick up Elise and her family at the airport.

Yesterday, all Elise was doing was telling em how much I'll hate her step-sister, Mandy. I was dreading meeting Mandy, but it was worth it to get to see my best friend from Michigan again.

"Come on guys!" I yell running into the pick-up section of the airport.

Peter comes running up next to me as I arrive at their gate. My mom and Aunt May were slowly trailing behind.

We saw the plane outside as the people slowly started to trail out.

Peter grabbed my hand and held it while I was waiting for Elise.

About three minutes later, I saw a girl with blonde hair and big blue eyes come through the gate with her mother.

"Elise!" I yell and run to her.

Her eyes lit up and I practically ran her over with a hug.

"Y/N! I've missed you so much!"

I pull away from her and look to her mom,

"Y/N, it's so good to see you. We've missed you so much." Elise's mother says and embraces me in a warm hug.

"I've missed you guys too!"

We walk back over to Peter, Aunt May, and my mom.

"You guys remember my mom," I say.

Elise's mother and my mom hug. Then my mom gives Elise a hug.

"Oh, and this is Peter my boyfriend," I say motioning to Peter.

He reaches out to shake both of their hands, "And this is Peter's Aunt May." I say.

Elise walks over to me and whispers, "Wow, Y/N, Peter is really cute!"

I blush and giggle, "Wait, where's Mandy and your step-dad?" I ask.

"Oh, Mandy lost her earring on the plane and refused to leave without it."

"Oh," I say.

I see Peter move next to me and he puts his arm around me, "Are you glad she's here? She seems really nice,"

"Yeah! You'll love her don't worry. Just watch out for her step sister." I giggle.

"The evil stepsister." Peter jokes. We laugh and I share the joke with Elise.

We stop laughing when we hear, "Elise!" A girl a little bit taller than me comes storming up to Elise. I'm not gonna lie, she's gorgeous. She had long straight brown hair. Her eyes were chocolate brown. And she was wearing a lot of makeup, but to be honest, it looks good on her. She was dressed in a white crop sweatshirt, and black leggings.

"This is all your fault!" She yells.

"What is my fault?" Elise says.

"If we didn't have to come here to visit your friend, then I would have never lost my earing."

"Oh, I'm sorry your earring escaped from you, sadly I can't." Elise said in a fake sad voice.

I couldn't help but snicker a little.
