The Flower of the Mind

Both the Light and the Dark Thoughts,
All Bloom, Wither and Die...
Their Blossoming Days Remembered,
As their Petals cover the Floor of the Soul...
These Petals are a Fertile Soil,
To Greater Flowers or even Trees...
These can bring Darkness or Enlightenment into the Mind,
Their Scent Intoxicating and Seducing...
Sometimes a New can Overgrow an Old,
Making it Weak or even Destroying it...
But the Old mustn't be Underestimated,
For their Roots might just Dig Deeper into One's Soul...
Old and New Flowers of the Mind,
Watch them Bloom with Awe...
Would you Enjoy their Petals Falling,
As they Wither and Die?
