Quick A/N: Two things.

1) I posted a new video trailer on chapter 18 so you can watch that if you want.

2)I needed a girl to be Austin's "girlfriend" for the story and since Austin actually has a girlfriend in real life, I decided that I would just use Fiffany.  The thoughts that Dylan has towards Fiffany are not my own thoughts on her. Fiffany seems so sweet and if she makes Porter happy, then I'm happy (even though I will always be slightly jealous of the girl who gets to date Austin).

The boy's eyes never left the screen of the phone. That was until the waitress came. "Hghmm" Her cough instantly caught Austin's attention.

Her name was Fiffany. The girl had never seen this boy before. He had never seen her before. This was because she was new to the town. She moved here just a month ago. She went to the school across town. These two were strangers, but not for long.

"Can I take your order?" Fiffany stared down at the boy, a pad stuck to her hand. Her pen ready to write. She watched as Porter stared at her processing her words.

"Oh yeah, could I get (I don't really like sushi so like idk what Austin would order)?"

With great customer service skills and a swift nod of her head, Fiffany smiled brightly down to the golden haired boy. She wrote down the order and took off towards the kitchen. From where she stood behind the bar, the girl observed the boy. His eyes were glued on that phone. It was as if he was obsessed. The question was of what exactly?

Dylan. Austin was obsessed with Dylan. More specifically her relationship with Edwin. Snapchat stories were filled with them hanging out. Edwin had caught something not even Austin had seen. Dylan was dancing around the art room to Marina and the Diamonds. Her smile was brighter than he had seen.  Although that was what Austin thought, it wasn't true. Porter's mind was playing tricks. He was jealous of his best friend, so he unconsciously compared his relationship to Edwin's. The thing was Ed and Dyl were completely platonic. Austin just didn't know this.

Fiffany held the plate of sushi as she walked up to the boy. He had yet to take his eyes off the screen. Even when she placed the food right in front of him. Her initial thought was that he was crazy or egotistical or phone obsessed. But she could be wrong, so she asked.

"What is on your phone that makes the outside world so boring?" Her voice caught Austin off guard once again. His eyebrows furrowed in confusion. Porter was confused by the simple question. That was only because he had not realized how involved he had become.

"The outside world is not boring, just there is something on my phone that interests me more at the moment." A single arched eyebrow was his response. Expecting for the waitress to leave at this, the boy set his still opened phone on the table and started to dig into his food. The girl remained standing. Her vision turned with her head, looking over her shoulder to look back towards the kitchen. No one was paying attention from the staff and there were no new customers that she would need to attend to, so the girl sat across from the boy.

The brown eyes that belonged to Austin raised to lock to Fiffany's. Her eyes shifted to look at the dimming phone. The home screen of it showed prominently. It was of a smiling Dylan. She was sat on Austin's bed. She had just caught a piece of popcorn in her mouth that Porter had thrown at her. It was adorable to the golden haired boy so he kept that picture as his home screen. "Who's she?"

"Nobody." The boy stared at the stranger. Why was she talking to him?

"Really?" The girl couldn't help but scoff at the boy's statement. "If she was nobody then why is she your home screen?" As if in instinct, Fiffany leaned in. Austin couldn't help but copy her actions.

"Why should I tell you?" The two stared at each other. Each wanting to figure out the other.

Fiffany leaned back against the booth. "I don't know. You just seem to interest me I guess. I mean you couldn't seem to take your eyes off the phone." Porter stared at the waitress processing her words. In all honesty he needed to talk to someone about his predicament. Someone unbiased.

Austin thought that there might be something going on between Ed and Dylan. If he asked Nick, he knew that Nick would ultimately blab. Zion sucks at relationship advise. Brandon is Dylan's brother. And Edwin is Edwin. He had no where else to go besides Fiffany. "Her name is Dylan." Their eyes met. Tiffany's urged for him to continue. "She is my best friend's little sister and is completely shy. Somehow I became friends with her. We literally hang out every weekend. The two of us. But she and my other friend Ed met. They both are into art and stuff, so Edwin invited her to paint a mural in his art studio. Of course she said yes. And I'm glad she is making new friends considering she only has me and her other friend Everrett, but they keep posting about each other. I think I'm jealous. I don't know really. I really like Dylan, but right now I don't know if it is like a friend or more,"

The girl stared at the boy. She didn't even know his name and she already knew about his love life. "Okay, well you can't jump to conclusions. Like you said, this Dylan girl seemingly doesn't have many friends and this is probably a big deal to her. You can't assume that they have feelings towards each other. Just give it time and talk to her. If you two are as close as you say, you could probably bring up crushes in your next convo or text her about today later. Maybe she'll talk about this Ed guy. Then you could for sure tell." With those words spoken, Fiffany rose from her seat. "I need to get back to work." She smiled down to the boy. She was sympathetic towards him. He was growing a crush on his friend and those just suck especially when there was a possible other love interest.

Austin nodded his head towards the girl, "Thanks for the advise, it was nice to have an unbiased opinion." The bright smile that belonged to the boy filled his face before the girl left him behind.

Austin stood on the curb staring down at the receipt. Written in vibrant red ink was a note from Fiffany.

Hello stranger with golden hair. I feel for you in the whole liking your best friend while they possibly have a crush on someone else. Here's my number if you need another unbiased opinion.
