Chapter 17

Taehyung P.O.V

I woke up early to take (y/n) to the airport. With everything going on I almost forgot today was my birthday. It didn't feel right celebrating without her.

When we walked into Bighit it was quiet. (y/n) wasn't there to make jokes or break out in spontaneous dance that would ultimately make all of us dance in the middle of the lobby. Jungkook was grumpy that he couldn't do a lot of the choreography. The rest of us just tried to focus on working. When it was time for a break Jimin ran off to get some water and the rest of us sat against the mirror.

Jimin walked back into the room holding a cake. There was a camera crew behind him so I put on a smile. Everyone started singing happy birthday which caused me to blush. The cake looked delicious, it was completely covered in chocolate and strawberries. I'm not gonna lie, the cake made me feel a little better.

We all sat on the ground and enjoyed the cake when another person walked in the room.

"Taehyung?" I turned to look at him. "(y/n)'s present for you just arrived." My heart jumped. She got me a present? We stood up and faced the door, the man standing their moved out of the way so someone else could enter. In his arms was a tiny black and brown puppy.

"What... really.. I... What.." I couldn't form a sentence. I scooped up the little dog and he started licking my nose.

"Oh my god!" Jungkook spoke in english. The dog was no bigger than my hand and was probably 80% fur. I didn't think she actually listened to me when I rambled on about the dog I'd want. He looked exactly like the pictures I would send in the group chat. Jin picked up the cake off the floor and I let the puppy down. He excitedly ran around to all the members and jumped up on them before running off in circles around the room. I finally broke out of my state of shock and started chasing it around the room. I took off my socked and rolled them into a ball, as I threw it the little dog chased it and attempted to wrestle it.

All of us forgot about rehearsal and put all our attention to the newest member of the family.

"What are you going to name it?" Jimin asked while taking pictures of it on his phone. I took a second to think about it.

"Yeontan." I announced, everyone gushed at the name and started calling him over in a baby voice. I sat on the ground and Yeontan immediately jumped into my lap.

"Pet store! Pet Store!" Jungkook chanted in the back of the van. All seven of us decided to leave rehearsal early to grab supplies for the new dog. Everyone jumped out of the car when we parked and the sleepy dog woke up from the sudden movement.

When the large sliding doors opened everyone ran off to retrieve things, of course I went straight to the toys. I grabbed every toy that caught my eye and held it to Yeontan for his approval. He was interested in everything so natural I got everything.

The rest of guys piled carts with dog supplies and Jin got some stuff for his sugar gliders too. All the excitement caused the little puppy to fall asleep for the rest of the shopping trip and the ride home.

(y/n) P.O.V

I sunk into my bed, it felt so nice laying down. By the end of the flight my wounds were burning from being scrunched for so long. I plugged in my phone and waited for it to turn on. When the screen came to life all the notifications began to appear. Most of which was from Taehyung.

'YOU DIDN'T'

'HE'S SO PERFECT'

I almost forgot that I had gotten him a puppy for his birthday. I opened snapchat and clicked on the pink box next to his name. Pictures of him and the tiny puppy flashed across the screen. He looked so happy. God I love him so much.

The final picture came up;

Our son. Ours.
