Woman comes to Camelot but doesn't speak English. Only Spanish. Luckily a certain manservant is almost fluent.

The guards charged into the throne room with a woman and what was assumed to be her daughter, who could be no older then 10. Uther rolled his eyes as he shifted in his chair. "What is the meaning of this?"

One guard took a couple of steps forward. He bowed and gestures to the the two women. "We found the two in the market causing a ruckus."

"And why have you bright them here?" Arthur asked giving his father a look.

"They don't speak a word of English." The guard said and as if on cue the women behind him started speaking.

"Por favor, padre, mi hija y yo fuimos secuestrados y llevados a su reino. Pedimos ayuda Por favor." The woman bowed. Both of the royals looked at each other confused.

They looked around at the court, hoping someone knew, but everyone sort of shrugged.

"Sire." Gaius said stepping forward.

"Yes Gaius?" Uther asked hoping he knew something.

"I believe that what they're speaking is Spanish. Merlin knows quite a bit of Spanish." He said and Arthur sighed.

"Of course he is. What else can't he do?" He mumbled to himself laughing. He then turned to a guard. "Well, go get him."

Moments later Merlin walked in with a confused look on his face. As he approached the throne he held out his arms in a silent question.

"I've heard you can speak Spanish." Uther started.

"That's a bit of an exaggeration. I can hold a conversation." Merlin explained but slowly trailed off as he saw Uther raise his eyebrows.

"Translate for us." He commanded and Merlin turned to the woman.

He waved and smiled. "Hola."

"Por favor, padre, mi hija y yo fuimos secuestrados y llevados a su reino. Pedimos ayuda Por favor." The woman repeated.

Merlin nodded and thought a moment.

"They were taken from their country and brought here. They are asking for help." Merlin told the royals.

"Well ask them where they are from?" Arthur suggested.

"De donde eres?" The woman looked so happy she could cry when she heard the Spanish.

"Espana." She replied.

"She's from Spain." He looked back at Uther and he only sighed.

"Tell her we will give her a horse and some provisions. So she can make her travels home." He said and Merlin paled.

What was the word for horse again?

He looked back at the woman and gave her a nervous smile. "Vamos a darte comida y agua. Y un animal para montar. Conoce el-"

Merlin stopped and mines riding a horse.

"What are you doing?" Arthur asked.

"I can't remember the word for horse." He admitted and looked back at the woman who looked confused. But the little girl giggled.

"Caballo?" She suggested from behind her mother.

"¡Sí! Un caballo. Puedes quedarte en el castillo esta noche. Puede comenzar su viaje por la mañana." He said and the woman hugged him.

"Gracias. Muchas gracias." She whispered to him and he hugged her back.

"No hay problema." She released Merlin and let the guards walk her to her rooms.

Merlin was about to follow when Arthur stopped him. "How did you learn Spanish?"

"I like to read." He said simply. "We had a Spanish to English translator back home. I learned almost every word in that thing, but it's been years since I've used it."

Arthur shook his head fondly. "What can't you do?"

Merlin shrugged and ran after the two women.
