Summary:
Cadmus Argent had defeated his angel. It had been something of an ordeal- he had died, been possessed, ran over Jackson Whittemore with a jeep. All in all a not so heinous night. After that, though, it was 'pack your bags' and Cadmus was being hauled off to France for the summer with a family he barely trusted.
Now, though, the summer was days away from ending and he was back in Beacon Hills. In a new home, with no mother and a skeptical relationship with his remaining relatives, Cadmus is as distant as ever and ready to try for a relatively uneventful junior year. Of course, that's impossible when Scott McCall becomes involved.
Add in a slew of mysterious disappearances, murder, a new pack of Alphas, and the incessant voice of an angel long thought to be gone, and you've got yourself a regular junior year at Beacon Hills High.
