Autism is often a "main course" disorder, with a smorgasbord of side orders (called comorbidities) to go with it. Of course not everyone has every one. But here are a few:

A few of the lesser-known ones:

A few of the lesser-known ones:

ODD: Oppositional Defiance Disorder:  a persistent behavioral pattern of angry or irritable mood; argumentative, defiant behavior towards authority figures; and vindictiveness. In some children with ODD, these behaviors are only in evidence in one setting—usually at home.

People with ODD often can feel a little bit "mean" for no reason, usually in a mostly-teasing way where they know it's going to upset the other person and that's their intention. They don't even realize they're doing it a lot of the time. And being defiant, too, even when it goes against their best interest. It can be super annoying. And people don't want to hang out with someone who is taunting/pushing them in a "friendly" manner. It's confusing and obnoxious. Luckily, it doesn't make the person act that way all the time.

For me, I have a little of the defiant part, but it's not an intentional thing; telling me or urging me to do something puts a mental wall up that makes my brain say "nope, whatever you do, don't do it". It's a thought as well as a feeling, a compulsion, to not do whatever I'm being told to do. Even if I know it's something I should do. It's almost impossible to explain. Luckily, I don't have the part that makes me want to annoy people lol. I go out of my way to try not to annoy people, actually. 😊

I think most of the rest of these are self-explanatory but I will get into them eventually, and please don't hesitate to ask about anything. If I don't know I'll totally just make something up! 😊
