Dedicated to our love that didn't last,

Let me start this with four simple words
That mean so much and words that came from my heart:

I still love you.

I remember how it all started,
it was just like yesterday but- no.
It has been months since then,
you've moved on so fast.

Here am I, still here waiting for you,
I'm still waiting for you to comeback.

But where did it really start?

Let's have a flashback,
one that would
never comeback
no matter how much
I wish it to do so.

It was a normal school day
for the rest of the people.
But for me it was so special
because we confessed
our feelings to each other.

That day I thought that
You were already mine
because even before that
I was yours.

We exchanged 'iloveyous'
but I didn't knew that it meant
nothing to you.

As days go by,
my love for you grew strong.
I was willing to fight for us,
because I thought you were too.
I was already going crazy for you

We spent most of our time together
My grades dropped yet I'm still happy
because I have you.

Days turned to months-
something we didn't expect came.
A knot. A knot we didn't know,
that will put an end to our happiness-
Or should I say mine?

Your family was against us,
I thought that you'll fight for us.
Fight for us like what-
I thought you would do.

But no, you gave up on me-
you gave up on us.

You promised me.

But you broke all your promises.

You left me hanging there.
You left me drowning.
You left me so wasted.

I still love you, how about you?
No. You said.
Me, wishing it wasn't true.
Because I'm still holding on the thought of me and you.

You told me I'm so dumb.
Is it dumb too love you?
If it is then I surrender.

-months have past
yet I still can't move on
I'm still holding on

But my momma said,
Enough- you're just hurting yourself.

I'm sorry.
I'll give up already too, just like what you always do.
