Flashback timmeee!!

Laughter filled the air as the kids chased after each other, all of them desperate to win the game they were playing with each other
It was a normal night for UK and France, America had gone out to hang with a few of his friends while Canada, Australia, and New Zealand played outside with each other
By playing, I mean Australia carrying a huge spider while chasing around the screaming Canada and Kiwi
France was humming a song quietly to herself, knitting very calmly in front of the fireplace
UK was just listening to her, reading the newspaper
Everything was going smooth, and America was supposed to come back home at any moment
It was then UK heard a coughing next to him, and he quickly looked up to see France having trouble breathing
The French women fell to the floor in pain, letting out a cry of pain
The UK acted quickly, dropping the newspaper and rushing to get to the household phone
He called the hospital, talking so fast to the operator he thought that the operator might not understand a word he was saying
They said they would be there in a moment, also mentioning to stay on the phone
UK put the phone on speaker, quickly rushing back to France to comfort her until help arrived

Outside, the three kids stopped everything they were doing when they heard the sirens
They all thought the sirens would just pass by the house, per usual, but this time they didn't, they stopped right in front of the house
The kids were quick to start panicking, all of them rushing to the back door and running into the house
The paramedics were already blocking the children from seeing what was happening, not helping their panic
Canada, being the tallest of the three, was able to catch a glimpse of France being take away, and his senses took over him as he pushed back all the paramedics that were in his way, rushing over to the French women being taken away on a stretcher
Aussie and Kiwi had already rushed behind Canada, all three now near the stretcher
All three kids saw her flag, and it seemed like she was in black in white
She turned her head like a owl towards the three, her eyes pitch black, it was slightly horrific to look at
Although they were pitch black, you could see the pain in her eyes as she stared helplessly at her kids
She held out her hand to the Canadian to take, and he gladly took it, squeezing it in reassurance, just hoping his mother will end out ok
She got rolled into the ambulance, and the three kids were not allowed to go in after her
That made them all mad, basically screaming at the adults
Eventually, Aussie had to be held back, threatening to get his emu on them

The ambulance drove away as Britain came out of the house, seeing his three kids crying on the lawn
He would be lying if he said he didn't wanna cry, already feeling the tears prick his eyes
Britain and the kids got into the car, driving to the hospital in silence
It was then UK decided to break the sad silence

"We can't tell America about this, ok?"

The past empire said to his kids in the most confident tone he could muster up, but that didn't work, because he sounded absolutely devastated either way
The three kids quickly nodded, agreeing to never tell America about what happened to his mother
