Then the hat twitched. A rip near the brim opened wide like a mouth -- and the hat began to sing:
"Oh, you may not think I'm pretty,

I'll eat myself if you can find
A smarter hat than me.

For I'm the Hogwarts Sorting Hat
And I can cap them all.

Those cunning folk use any means
to achieve their ends.

When it was Merlins turn
"Emery's Merlya" was called out through the hall.
"Did she say Emery's?" "Wasn't Emery's Merlins surname?" "no way!"
All Merlin did was walk through the hall and sit down on the old oak stall.
"Hello again Merlin. Long time no see! How has the old Queen of magic and dragon lady been?" "Hello again Henry good to see you again. I'm doing fine. Sooooooo am I going to get sorted again and which house?" "you do realise what Dumbledore has been up to right? I did want to do this with Harry but that poor boy already has way to much attention And that is coming from a really old hat. Ok let's get this party started. Mmmmm well you have been in every house already. Should we make this year interesting? You do know that Harry Potter is a griffin? Well GRITHERIN! yes that's right the houses of the snake and griffin I could not decided. I and try not to destroy anything but make this intressting!"
