Maya's pov

It was potentially a rough night.
Not one I ever want to relive.
Why did it happen?
Why couldn't it just have been someone else?
Well I guess I'm just one of the lucky one's aren't I?

Maya is sitting in her bedroom trying to clean up all the blood off her arms when Shawn came in.
He had no idea what to do but knew that it wouldn't be somewhen likes to do.
He sat down next to Maya and took the cloth out of her hand.
He gently wiped the blood away to see that there will be pretty bad scars.
He disinfected it and then he wrapped a bandage over it.
The rest of her body was bruised and had marks which he was sure would stay for quite awhile.
He had no idea what happened or even how it happened.
As he finished cleaning and putting bandages on Maya's arm Katy came in.
She didn't want to draw too much attention so she left.
Shawn then checked Maya's head to where she was pretty much most hurt and made sure that she was cleaned up.
He didn't say much and it wasn't needed.
Maya laid down on her pillow and Shawn threw a blanket over her.
He knew all she wanted to do was sleep.
But he had no possible idea what would be next.
He just knew it was nothing he could control.

He went in front to where Katy was with Sophie and tried to not wish everything away.
Shawn knew what to do to help his daughter but he didn't want to do it.
Sending her away from home was never an option.
Not in the far or near future.
But in the end that is what they will have to do.
Send Maya away from home.
