They came within the hours. Drugs still running through his veins, Cyan couldn't help the symptoms that overwhelmed him.

Hour one...

Cyan splashed cold water on his face, breathing hard as he gripped the side of the sink and trying to hold his balance steady. He had left Mason out by himself in the room as his body started to become hot. Not ecstasy hot but the hot you felt when staying out too long on a summer day with a jacket on. He wanted to get rid the feeling and yet even after taking off the shirt, he couldn't.

Placing his hands back underneath the cold running water, Cyan leaned forward again and soaked his face in the liquid, splashing the water on his body also. Water dripped off of his chest and slid down his legs but his body still burned with the temperature.

"Fuck, come on!" He screamed in frustration, leaning his head all the way towards the faucet and opening his mouth so that he could lap up the cold water that ran down. Water covered his mouth and surrounding areas and yet, barely had any gotten in his mouth. His tongue was dry. The air from his lungs burned his hands. He just needed it to stop.

Just fucking stop.

Anger clouded his mind as he straightened up, gripping the side of the sink harder than before and feeling as it would crack. Cyan stared in the mirror, looking at the dark circled eyes they reflected back at him. Slowly, he brought his hand up and placed his fingers against his eye. They were beginning to look sunken.

Cyan knew that drugs would eventually take a toll on his appearance sooner or later but he didn't think it would start showing so soon. Not only was he beginning to notice his eyes but his skin looked so ghastly under the bathroom lighting. He didn't want this. He didn't want to be like the people who pictures were used for those anti-drug learning videos that teachers showed in school to scare the living shit out of the kids.

Cyan ran a fingernail down his face before remembering why he was in the bathroom in the first place and his body flaring back up in heat. He didn't care about looks anymore and fuck the mirror for reflecting him. After the sudden loss of irritation, it was back and Cyan didn't waste any time to take it out on the mirror. Slamming his fist into the glass repeatedly until it not only cracked but broke off at the force, Cyan shoved himself hard away from the sink and stalked towards the shower. Turning the cold water on full blast and switching the water flow from the faucet to the shower head, Cyan stepped in.

He ran a hand through his hair, leaning his head back and opening his mouth the catch the water drops. Still, it barely went in but it had been better them the sink and Cyan continued with it.

Hour two...

Bugs were crawling on him.

Little tiny dots that seemed to scurry up his arms and legs before they seemingly disappeared in thin air only for another to take its place where it had started. Cyan had only watched them in the beginning, one or two appearing, but after a while, he couldn't take it anymore. Dozens and dozens of the crawled up him and the more he would scratch them off, the more that they would keep coming. It freaked him out. It made him panic.

Worse of all, it reminded him of his childhood and if anything could scare him, it would be something that had happened when he was younger. There were always bugs and weird things crawling on him from sleeping outside near trash but waking up to families of them crawling up your neck and face.

Cyan didn't do bugs and here he was now, scraping his skin off just to get the things off. Blood and skin gathered under his fingernails but not the insects. They just kept disappearing.
