The Loch Ness Monster also known as Neisse is probably one of the most recognized cryptids in the world besides Bigfoot. The first recorded sighting of the monster was in the 6th century when an Irish monk was visiting the Picts when he came across locals burying a man who was said to have been swimming in the loch when he was attacked and killed by a “water beast” as they called it. The next sighting did not happen for a long period of time. In 1933 a young couple was driving near the loch when what they called an extraordinary beast crossed the road in front of their car. Later that year a cyclist named Author Grant claimed to have seen a large creature swimming in the loch while he was riding his bike. Though many attempts have been made to prove that it exits, people have been unable to prove its existence.
