Merodi says as she kneels down in despair
"Even the shrine sprits are in slumber."
She drops her bags on the floor with a tired sigh.
She looks at her watch;
"2:30 pm."
"Ok, I can do this."
Merodi ties up her smooth long black hair, gets up with a determined look and rolls up her sleeves.
"Who needs a familiar?"
She said with a worried tone.
Merodi walks to the offering box; full of trash.
She picks it all out with a disgusted face, puts it in a small trash can that was near the gate.
She sense's a presence behind her, Merodi turns around rapidly to see a guy.
His red hair covered up an eye and he wore what looked to be very expensive clothes.
"Who might you be?"
"I heard there was a new land god, but I never knew it would be human."
She gets a bit angry by such a comment.
"Who says I'm human?"
Her blue eyes turn into a deep red.
His face turns a bit surprised.
"Oh, well I'm sorry"
He says with a sarcastic tone, letting out a small smile.
He walks up to her with less than a feet separating them.
His reaches his hand to touch her face, but she slaps it away with a sharp glare.
He seems even more surprised then walks away.
"By the way, I'm Kurama."
He looked back and smiled a her.
Merodi blushes a bit but then looks away hastily.
When she looks back, Kurama is no longer there.
