Yes, I'm still on stimming. I like it.
So, stim bags are, well, bags of stims. You can put whatever stims you want in there, but for a few ideas, here's my stim bag!
A pretty discreet little bag, it's a pencil case looking thing my grandma gave me.Look, it's got cactuses. You can pop these babies in your handbag, schoolbag, backpack (as opposed to a schoolbag) wherever! Mine's fairly small, so I'm a bit limited, but I don't really use toys too much, so it's fine.
These are some pom poms I made- they're extra soft and I like the colours. They're good for if I'm overwhelmed, but again, whatever works for you!
This is an old bracelet- it's a bit small though, and jangly! It makes noise if I want, and I can work it around in my fingers.
This is a time turner necklace from Harry Potter- it's good for fidgeting!
This is another fidgety thing. My friend pulled it off her jacket and I got to keep it, to my parents chagrin. I collect shiny things. They think I'm a crow. It's great. It makes noise too, if I want.
This is a tangle I got recently- I really like it! It's kind of soft and fuzzy, and I just really really like it a lot. This is a chew toy I stole from my little brother. I don't chew a lot, but I like having it in my mouth or just touching and playing with it.
These are just a few ideas and what I currently have, but here's some other good options.
• A small paintbrush. The bristles can be good to fiddle with, and it's discreet.
• A glitter jar. Water, food dye and glitter in a jar. Shake it and watch the glitter swirl!
• Sand timer.
• Blu Tak or slime. Make sure to put it in a container so it doesn't make a mess! Easy slime- Blu Tak and handsoap. Kinda gross at first, but nice! Don't add too much soap.
• Makeup brushes. The good ones are soft.
• Chew toys. These also come as necklaces.
• Fidget spinners or cubes. These are also pocket sized! And yes, autistic people still use them, no, it's not cringey.
• School glue. This is mostly me, but I like letting it dry and peeling it off.
• Pens and stuff. You can fiddle with them.If yoy have any additions, let me know in the comments and I can add them or just acknowledge your existence! Bye y'all.
