So that has been my story and my experience with racism in Germany. It wasn't easy for me to open up and this has been the first time IN MY LIFE that I spoke openly about it. Now I want to make a brief explanation about the difference of being actively and passively racist.

actively racist: saying the N-Word; calling someone the N-word; making monkey noises; Insult someone, because of their heritage; attac someone, because of their heritage

passively racist: "Do you speak german?"; assuming things, becuase of the heritage; certain comments like: "Can you give me the skin colour?";

I truly hope that I could open some peoples eyes and that I could help you guys to understand how it feels to be humiliated several times through out your life because of the colour of your skin. I hope that I made you think about this situation. All I want is people to reflect on their own past and think about if they have done similar things like that and if they have, I want you to admit that it was wrong and try your best to educate yourself and others about the current Situation.

For those who can relate : I really hope that I gave you a plattform where you can always talk and express your feelings. I hope that you felt understood with my story and that you don't shy away to speak about racism.

I just hope that everyone learned something. Let's make the world a better place
