However, the days followed after the visiting Pack had left, sparked a general meeting.

Alpha Remus was enacting old Pack rules, the very ones that did not favor the presence of an uncontrolled she-wolf with no ties to Crescent Moon. And from what his Beta and Delta had told him, the girl was indeed strong. Too strong.

It turned into a vote, counting the decision of himself, Beta Eil, Delta Jackson, and his Luna—Kelly. It drew into a tie, and it angered Remus that his two advisors were standing against his views on allowing an unregistered and unclaimed she-wolf to roam around his Pack with no regard to pack lifestyle. She—

"Sir, I swear, she's not a threat. If you just met her, you'll see it too. Goddess sake, she didn't even see the moon until she made it to Mystic Grimm." Sure he felt empathy for her situation, but the she-wolf wasn't in front of him like she was when she met Alpha Harlow or Luna Jade.

But one look at his own Luna, the vote was overruled.

"If Alpha Harlow wants her, he can have her. She's—"

"Alpha, the Elwoods have already bonded with her." The male did not care for the Beta's words, and instead, he shrugged it off. Not knowing much more or caring to learn the rest of the story.

Jack gritted his teeth, restraining himself from speaking out in front of his Alpha. But the Beta in the room wasn't afraid of that. "If the Elwoods move..."

"They won't. Leo is loyal to the end." Eli shook his head in response to his Alpha's theory.

"To the Pack, sure, but to his daughter? That might be another story, sir." The Beta found the door without hesitation and continued off. The timeframe for Sage's stay was left to one final week, and now he was off to tell the family with Jack at his side.

The female was here for close to two weeks now, and by the end of this eviction notice, she'd be here the majority of the month. "How could he kick her out? She's—"

"Careful...We're two for two on disagreement with the Alpha and Luna." Jack rolled his eyes. Kelly was not in any way, shape, or form fit to be Luna.

The Alpha was simply horny, and most of the Pack could attest to that. Kelly Snyder was not what the Moon Goddess had in mind to be the fated pair to Remus Moon.

All in all, the Pack knew Remus could do better. Both as a male, but also in the choice of a Luna. Sure she had her ways, but the borderline Omega blood in her made her nowhere close to intimidating.

As a Luna should be.

"She's not Luna yet," Jack grumbled, closing his fists further into his palm as they finally arrived at the Elwood residence. Camilla had been the one to answer the door and allowed them entry.

Sage's scent had managed to mingle well into the Elwood line, but it didn't demote whatever strength that she was harnessing. That is what turned their Alpha in denial in accepting her to the Pack.

"Leo and Luke in?" She nodded and politely asked if they wanted anything to drink, but this was a business call and by the looks of it...

It was a bad one.

Mr.Elwood and his eldest came within the minute and asked what was wrong. But it wasn't Jack's place to explain it. It was Eli's.

"WHAT?!" Luke roared. Both he and his wolf had managed to shake the house with that reaction. And his father's response wasn't much better.

"ON WHAT GROUNDS?!"

"That she has no ties to the pack and her position is threatening to—" Leo didn't waste another second in hearing these excuses as he stormed out of his home, taking a direct beeline to the Packhouse where his Alpha resided.
