I asked a guy, a question so plain,
What's the difference between she and I, in this worldly domain?
He looked at me, with a thoughtful gaze,
And his answer left me in a daze."You're like the star," he began to say,
"And she's like the rain, in her own way."
I was confused, didn't understand his claim,
So, I asked him again, to explain the game."You burn brightly," he said with a sigh,
"Like a star in the night, up in the sky,
Your light is radiant, a beacon so bright,
In the darkness, you ignite the night.""But she's like the rain," he continued to say,
"She brings comfort, in her own way,
Her presence is soothing, a balm to the soul,
In her gentle touch, I find my role."So, there it was, his answer so clear,
A comparison of love, of what he holds dear,
I'm the star that burns, with a radiant light,
And she's the rain, that soothes the night. In his words, I found a truth so raw,
A testament of love, without a flaw,
For love is not about who shines the most,
But who touches the heart, who holds you close.
