Chapter 8- Pregnancy with Harper

"So have you decided when your gonna stop working?" Dawson asks
"At about 32 weeks!" Harper says
"Wait so you gonna run into burning buildings whilst pregnant?" Dawson asks shocked
"Yeah I done that with Devin so why can't I with this baby?" Harper says
"How many weeks are you now?" Dawson asks
"About 16!" Harper says
Shift is finished so it's finally time to tell aria and Devin about the new addition to the family. Kelly and Harper sit Aria down and Kelly holds Devin
"So you know how Devin was in mummy's tummy?" Harper says
"Yeah.."Aria says confused
"Well there's another one in mummy's tummy! Devin is gonna be a big brother!" Harper says enthusiastically
"But I don't want another baby mummy!" Aria says annoyed
"It's gonna be fun! If it's a girl then you can share all your toys and" Harper says before aria cuts her off
"I don't even like Devin!! I don't want another one!!" Aria shouts
"Aria Leslie Severide! Don't you dare speak like that to you mum!" Kelly shouts. Kelly then gives Devin to Harper and takes aria into her room and slams the door shut.
"Well! We better go get dinner started before your daddy shouts at us" Harper says to Devin as he smiles. She puts him in his high chair and starts to make dinner. She has made spaghetti. They all sit and eat dinner and Kelly puts the kids to bed.
"You didn't have to shout at her" Harper says sitting down next to Kelly
"She spoke to you like you were nothing!" Kelly says
"She's 6! Not that long ago she had a new sibling come into her life after being on only child for 5 years! On top of that her parents are gone most of the week ! Now she has to work with a new sibling!" Harper says resting her head on Kelly's shoulder
"Yeah I guess your right!" Kelly says stoking her hair
"I could go for some pickles and ice cream!" Harper says looking at Kelly
"I'll go grab some!" Kelly says as Devin starts to cry
"I'll get him!" Harper says getting up and going into Devins room
After 10 minutes she manages to get Devin settled and she eats her ice cream and pickles. Kelly and Harper then head to bed.
It's the next day and Matt and Gabby have come over with Miles. Aria and Miles go and play whilst Kelly comes in with coffees for everyone. Harper takes a sip of her coffee and instantly feels sick. She runs to the bathroom and throws up
"Morning sickness! You only had that with Devin and not aria so that means it's a boy!" Dawson says enthusiastically
"I think it's gonna be a girl and you know what they says mums are always right!" Harper says wiping her mouth
"No it's definitely gonna be a boy!" Kelly says enthusiastically
"I just hope that little bean in here doesn't need a firetruck to drive them to the hospital more specifically truck 81!" Harper says laughing
"We were more than happy to have you both times!" Casey says laughing
"I'll try not to be out on a call!" Kelly says
"Me too!" Dawson says laughing
Aria and Miles run out of arias room
"Mummy! Can we get ice cream?" Aria asks
"Please auntie Harper and Uncle Kelly!" Miles says
"How could we say no to your faces!" Harper says getting her coat
"Are you sure it's not because you've been craving ice cream!" Kelly says laughing
"Not at all Mr.Severide!" Harper says laughing
