𝙃𝙚𝙧 𝙡𝙖𝙪𝙜𝙝 𝙚𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙚𝙙 throughout her room, as she snuggled into her pillows on her bed, listening to Robby's voice through her phone. She had been up the whole night hearing his raspy night voice converse with her, multiple times hiding under her sheets when she heard her sister walk past.

It had been a week since their moment at the beach, and ever since, the two hadn't failed to find every and any opportunity to talk.

Adria could still feel the tenderness of his lips on hers, the memory replaying like a tape on repeat. It had been her first kiss, which happened to be under the rain, on the beach. To her it couldn't get better than that.

The two had kissed for what felt like forever in the water before the presence of Nova disrupted them. She had been checking everywhere along the shore, before falling her eyes onto the two far off in the distance. Her shouts for them to come back finally drew them from their trance, and their surroundings had finally clicked with them.

The rain was becoming heavier at that point, the wind had grown stronger, and it had proven to be a struggle for the two to make it to the shore without drowning, despite their swimming abilities.

Adria could feel the panic rising within her body as the three had walked to the car, the couple wrapped together in a blanket as they waited for Nova to summon Valentina. Nova had seen them and she couldn't determine what she was thinking.

Robby and Adria sat in silence in the car, but it was mere seconds before they glanced at each other, and breathless grins graced their faces. The two couldn't help but cheesily laugh, Adria leaning her head onto his shoulder. Though as she looked up, both their laughs ceased, gentle smiles present as they leaned in to connect their lips once more.

Unfortunately, Nova had opened the passenger seat right at that moment, before Valentina had entered the door, drunk. Robby and Adria glanced at each other in shock, before falling into a childish fit of giggles in the back seat, earning a look from Nova as she had driven off.

Nova had refused to mention what she had seen, and Adria couldn't help but feel the fear building up within her, anticipating that Nova would tell their mother.

Valentina would never let Adria hear the end of it, and she knew she'd find every way to put Adria down for sharing a kiss with a boy.

It had been that particular morning that Valentina had left for the beach club, apparently to 'pay bills'. Nova wasn't stupid, and when she heard her mother hurry out with her highest heels, and red lipstick, she immediately knew it was for that bartender she had met the other week.

With the absence of her mother hurrying to get ready in her room, she could hear the noise of Adria's laughter filling the apartment. A small sigh escaped her lips, as she reluctantly walked over to her younger sister's room, gently opening the door. She could see her genuinely smiling for the first in a while, but with what she knew about Robby, she didn't want her sister following the wrong path.

Adria glanced up to see her sister raising a brow at her, as she quietly bid Robby goodbye, placing her phone down. "What do you want Nova?"

"I want to talk to you, Adrianna." Nova sassed, fully entering her room. Taking a seat at the edge of her bed, Adria anxiously sat up, watching her sister's blatant expression look at her. Her sister hadn't been inside her room since they moved in and Adria knew that she wouldn't be here without a reason. Deep down she knew it was going to have to do with her relationship with Robby– contempt for the fact they hadn't labeled it yet.

"I want you to break up with Robby." Nova nonchalantly stated, causing Adria to shift up abruptly. Her brows furrowed in disdain, and she could feel her jaw clench. Letting out a nervous chuckle, she stammered, "You're joking, right?"
