Chapter 10: Western Canada

It had now been an entire week since the Halloween party. It was so awkward between Jack and me. We had practic the day after and when we got there we both gave each other looks that basically said 'I know what you did.' We had barely talked since then. The spark we once had when we were on the ice together suddenly diminished to a very small flame. I hated it. I hated feeling like something was weird between us. But everyone knows that you don't kiss your teammates.

Nico started to catch on too. I don't think he saw us, but he's the captain. The captain sees all. I couldn't be too sure about what he saw.

My tired self really want to send Jack a text and ask what was wrong. Right now we were on the plane to Vancouver. We had just slammed the Blue Jackets in a 7-1 win, extending my point streak to 8 games. Jesper Bratt and I had a bet going on to see whose point streak lasted the longest, but that's not what I was focused on right now. Jack was sitting a few aisles down from me. I peeked my head out to see what he was doing and thankfully he hadn't gone to sleep yet. Now was my chance.
