We picked up Aisha Ella and Kenny and headed for the mall, the three of us holding on for dear life while Benny kept driving
"OH THANK GOD" everyone but Benny sighs as soon as the car parked
"Yall are fucking dramatic" Benny rolled his eyes
"Soo Wheres Anthony?" Asked Aisha
Everyone knew they liked each other just like Ella and Kenny, but never admitted it
"Airport with my parents apparently" i say smirking
We headed straight to get a gift so we wouldn't get distracted and each picked one thing for Hams mom. I got her a heart necklace with her name on it, Aisha some matching earrings, Ella the matching bracelet. Benny and Kenny each got her a shirt and cardigan. We payed for our things and headed for the food court.
"Benny" i whispered and pulled him back so we where behind everyone. They kept walking so i started talking
"Kennys your best friend right?" I asked
"Yea.." he asked confused
"So you would know who he likes right?"
"Yea- wait...do you..like kenny?" He asked with a very confused face
"Wha- BAHAHAHHA" i starting laughing so hard i teared up
After a solid 3 minutes, i finally calmed down
"Eres bien tonto Benito" i sigh resting my arm on his shoulder "yea hes cute but not really my type"
"Then why did you ask?"
"Cus Ella likes him you dumbass its so obvious" i say rolling my eyes. We started heading to the food court so the others wouldn't worry
"Ohh right well he likes her too. The dumbass wont stop talking about her but doesn't want to talk TO her"
"Then maybe we should help" i say smirking
"Hmm like their cupids" he says smirking back
And i nodd
"Ok deal" he says
We find the group sitting down, kenny and ella sitting next to each other and Aisha on the other side of ella

Benny and i give eachother THE look and sit down. They had ordered us some pretzels and we ate them and walked around a little longer before heading back home.
We all went back to Bennys house and i saw that my parents were back from the airport.
"DIANA" i squeal as i run down the road to my driveway and tackle my cousin with a hug.
"Nena i missed you so much" she said hugging me back
"Me too im so glad you can early"
Diana was going to help us choreograph the dances for Toño and i's party, so she came early so we could start.
I nodded at Aisha and Ella to come with me and we helped take her things inside and talked to her for a while. She told me the rest of my cousins that were gonna be in my court were coming in half an hour, so i texted the group chat with all the guys to be at my house by then.
They were happy to have to leave the sandlot, but Mr. Mertle was having the dugout redone for us plus a new fence so they couldn't be around for that either way.
We were all sitting in my backyard when my cousins walked in
"Ok lets get started" Diana said
"Ill pair you off so, Kenny and Estella"

"Toño and... how about Aisha, less awkward than dancing with your sister"
"Nena and Benny, Micheal and Steph, Alan and Alli, Scotty and Montse, Bertram and Camila, Ham and Sophia, Timmy and Ximena, and Tommy and Anita"
We all got into our pairs and and started practicing the Vals. Turns out the guys were half bad at dancing, they even got down the zapateado and bachata. Also Why can Yeah-Yeah can move his hips better than i can bye-
After practice my dad was making carne asada so they all stayed to eat
"So, Ella, how was dancing with Kenny" I say and Aisha and i were smirking at eachother
"Hes not a bad dancer i guess" she said blushing
"Bet he isnt" says Aisha
"What about my brother Aisha? I saw how you two were all laughing together, no estoy siega"
"Well...i...um...its not like that" she says also blushing
"mhm sure its not" i say laughing

the next couple weeks we practice three days a week and were getting better.
We didnt have practice today so i just watched stranger things. And i was BAWLING cus they killed Alexei even though its like the 5th time I've rewatched the series

Then i get a text that completely changed my mood. Ella said Kenny had asked her to hang out!!
"YES" i say
Benny and i have been working our magic, getting them to talk to each other more, plus dancing helped a lot.
I got up and put on some gray sweats and a white fitted long sleeve top and my vans. I went to get Toño so we could go hang out at Bennys. We get our keys and phones and say bye to our parents
"Hey Luis" we say passing Bennys dad and running to Bennys room.
"BENITO NO VAS A- oh uh hi"
There was a random girl from school in his room. Remember when i said a group of girls glared at me when benny put his arm over my shoulder the last day of school? Yea it was her and her friends. The bitches of the school. When i saw her my heart sank a little. Why was i feeling this?
"Hey Olivia"i say trying to be nice. She just glared at me

"Wheres Benny" asks Toño
"Huh" we turned around and saw Benny behind us with chips
"No sabia que tenías compañía"

"Uh yea que paso?"
"I just wanted to tell you Kenny finally asked Ella out!" I said bouncing.
"Hell yea, our work paid off then huh"
"We should charge them for our work as cupids" we laugh until we hear someone clear their throat.
"Anyways ya nos vamos bye benito" i say and as we walked away i hear olivia say "does she always just barge in whenever she wants"
"Snotty ass bitch" i say to Toño rolling my eyes.
He just laughs and we go back home
