Nearly there! I didn't realise the time had gone so fast. The run back to school was quite far. I could soon feel my skin getting soaked in the pouring rain.

As quickly as I could, I raced through the back of the school and went out the front and hurried into the car, where Clyde was looking at his watch, impatiently waiting for me.

I threw my bag and everything with me into the car and slumped down into my seat.

“Where were you?” Clyde started “I've been waiting here for about six minutes for you”

“I was a little bit late, can we please go home now!” I snapped.

He looked away then looked back at me, my heart paused.

“What happened to your face?!” he asked looking closely at me as he lifted my face up to get a closer look

“Oh my God Clyde, just leave me alone and stay out of my business! It's not your damn problem!” I yelled, aggressively brushing his hand off me.

Why did he have to notice? I didn't want him to know. There was nothing he could do about it anyway.

Clyde gave me a look as if to ask what had gotten into me “What is your problem? Taking your anger out on everyone?”

I was soaking wet and freezing cold, also I was in excruciating pain the last thing I wanted to do was argue so I kept quiet. Seems like I'd gotten really good at it.

Seems like I'd gotten really good at it
