Cody's POV

I knocked on the door and opened it as I heard Tristan's voice coming inside the office. I greeted him and closed the door behind me as I walked in.

"Have you finished?" I asked, pointing at his paperwork with my chin as I sat down on a vacant chair beside his desk.

"Yes." He replied, breathing deeply and ran his hand through his hair, closing his eyes.

"Let's have dinner together. It is on me." I suggested and winked at him.

"Good. Let's go." He said, nodding as he stood up, grabbing his phone and key.

I grinned as I stood up and followed him. I parked my car in front of the restaurant and got out of the car, giving the key to a valet. Tristan parked his car behind my car and got out of his car. I waited for him to approach me; then, we walked into the restaurant together.

As soon as we were inside, I searched for Emily. I heard where they were going to meet up when Emily was talking on the phone with the prick called Manuel happily. I gritted my teeth as I saw Emily sitting beside a man with jet-black hair while they were talking. There were two women talking with each other beside them as well, but these two were so busy with their topic that they were ignoring the women beside them.

"Why did you stop?" Tristan asked and looked at the direction where I was looking. "Oh." He added, giving me a teasing smirk. "And I thought you missed your big bro and wanted to spend some time with him, but your intention was different." He sighed, shaking his head and pretended to be upset.

"Don't talk bullshit,! It is just a coincidence." I lied nonchalantly.

"If you say so." He grinned, giving me a knowing look. I rolled my eyes.

"Umm... Let's say hi to them." I suggested as I walked towards their table without waiting for him to say anything, but I was sure that he was smirking at me.

"Princess." I said cheerfully as I approached Emily and gave her a wide smile. She looked at me in surprise as she turned towards me. I ignored her expression and kissed her cheek as I leaned towards her. Then I turned my gaze to the others and greeted them, resting my hand on Emily's back while Tristan was watching us with an amused expression on his face, standing beside me.

"Umm... Let me introduce..."

"No need, princess. I will introduce myself." I cut her off, giving her a charming smile. Then turned my gaze towards the others and said. "I am Cody Sullivan, Emily's husband." I gave the prick a cocky look and added. "And it is my brother, Tristan Sullivan."

"Good evening." Tristan greeted them, trying not to burst out laughing.

"I am Manuel." The prick introduced himself as he stood up and shook our hands.

"The classmate." I added, giving him an arrogant smile while resting my hand on Emily's shoulder.

"Cody." Emily whispered angrily as she stood up and gave me a warning look. "What are you doing here?" She asked, trying to control her anger after the women had introduced themselves.

"Tristan and I came for dinner. But I am so glad I bumped into my beautiful wifey." I replied, giving her a devilish grin as I rested my hand on her lower back, placing a soft kiss on her temple. Tristan pursed his lips together as he folded his arms over his chest, watching us in amusement.

"Cody!" Emily whispered between gritted teeth, leaning towards me and gave me a forced smile.

"Well, we will not disturb you anymore." I said, giving the women a warm smile. "Princess, then let's go home together after dinner." I suggested, pulling her closer to me by wrapping my arm around her waist and placing a chaste kiss on her lips. "See you, guys." I said to the others and walked towards our table without letting Emily say anything.

I was sipping my wine, looking at Emily. Every time our eyes met, she gave me a dirty look.

"Well, well, well. I sense love in the air." Tristan commented, giving me a mocking smirk. "Did you fall in love, lil bro?" He teased me, emphasizing the word love.

"What?! No! Never! Are you crazy? And don't mention that word again. It is an evil word which is banned in my world." I stated firmly. I cleared my throat and added. "I want to clear the misunderstanding. I am not jealous. So don't get wrong ideas. It is just a coincidence. Nothing more."

"Hmm." He smirked, giving me an unconvinced look and sipped his red wine. "If you say so. I just wanted to warn my brother about that evil word." He added, giving me an amused grin.

I rolled my eyes and said firmly. "Don't worry. I have resistance to that word."

"Ok." He grinned. "But it will not save you from a punishment because of using me for stalking your wife. You will do a favour to me and look after my children tomorrow. I have a surprise for Mila. I want to spend some time alone together."

"No problem. I missed them." I said, nodding as I gave him a smile and looked at Emily who was chatting with that prick again.

After dinner, I approached their table as Tristan left and placed my hand on Emily's shoulder.

"Princess, let's go." I said, giving her a bright smile and turned my gaze from her to her classmates. "See you later, guys." I added without letting Emily say anything.

"See you soon." Emily said, giving them a warm smile as she grabbed her clutch. I grabbed her hand and dragged her out with me  after giving the prick a dirty look.

I was gripping the steering wheel tightly while driving my car, my jaw clenched. I felt so annoyed. Emily and that prick had been talking during the dinner like they were lovers. I didn't miss that prick's amazed look at Emily, my wife.

"What was going on with you? You were so rude towards my classmates. You even interrupted our dinner. We wanted to go for a drink after dinner, but after your suggestion, we have to change our plan. When I wanted to resist, Nora didn't let me, saying we would meet another time because my husband probably missed me." She stated angrily.

"Oh, really? Then did that prick tell anything? Probably, he refused, telling you that you meet once in awhile and your husband could wait." I said sarcastically and gritted my teeth in annoyance.

"No, Manuel didn't say anything. And what is your problem with him? I noticed how you looked at him." She resumed, frustrated.

"Nothing. What kind of problem should I have with him?! Or should I need to know anything?" I asked angrily and gave her a questioning look.

"What the hell are you talking about, Cody?" She asked angrily, furrowing her eyebrows.

"I just want to remind you that you can not date anyone else while we are married. Don't forget our agreement." I reminded in a bossy tone.

"What?! Cody, what are you talking about?! Manuel and I are just friends." She stated in frustration.

"Good! So be careful when you are outside. I don't want everyone to laugh behind me telling my wife cheats on me with some prick." I warned her in an authoritative tone.

"Cody! You don't have to warn me. I know how to act in public. And I don't cheat on you." She snapped angrily.
