"Hey, let's go to the Lima party tonight, Cody invited us," Seth said, turning in his desk chair to face Roman who was biting his eraser

"I don't think so S, I mean- a party's not really my scene you know," Roman replied, shaking his head as he looked back down into his text book

"Besides- isn't Cody like a really, really good friend of Randy? If Randy's there, then you know Ry and Dean are gonna be there," Roman continued

"I don't think either of them want to see me right now," he said and Seth sighed, getting up and going over to the bed where Roman was and sat down

"Ro c'mon man, look- I've known Dean and Ryker a long time now, and she's not gonna make this a whole big deal cuz you guys meet each other's eyes across a room. Dean's not gonna do anything when Ryker's there. She'd never forgive him if he did." Seth assured

"Please Ro? I don't wanna leave you here by yourself."

"S, I'm not a kid. Go to your party, I'll be fine." Roman insisted

"Ro-"

"Seth, I'm not going. So just drop it okay?" Roman said and Seth sighed and nodded

"Okay Ro, I'm gonna get ready, I'm leaving in about 20 minutes, it's in Lima, Dorm 17, if you change your mind okay?" Seth asked, hand on Roman's shoulder

"Have fun." Roman replied, giving Seth a smile

Seth made sure to tell Roman he was leaving and if things went as planned, to not expect him home tonight. Roman laughed and shook his head when the door closed, Seth was something else

It was around 9 when Roman sighed at his book, he took off his glasses and rubbed his eyes, yawning. He sat up and looked around, it was Friday night, 9pm and he was in his dorm room, alone with a textbook. When did he get so boring?

He wasn't always like this. He was always a nerd yes, he loved school and took his education very seriously. Though, he still managed to go to sporting events, and to the theatre where Finn's band played. Now though, it was like he was living in one constant cycle of nothingness.

He kissed his teeth and stood up, heading to his closet. He was going to that party, he needed to let loose for a few hours, he put on his contacts, a great fitting black jeans, a white t-shirt and tied up his hair, a gold chain around his neck and he put on his watch and headed down

When he went in, he saw Cody first, the man stumbled to him and he was obviously drunk out of his wits as he threw his arm around Roman's shoulders

"Hey Romeee," Cody drawled, the beer in his right hand tipping a bit and Roman reached over and fixed it before he spilled it on the carpet

"Hey Codes, uh, have you seen Seth?" Roman asked, practically holding up the smaller man

"He's over there, in the corner with Graves." Cody slurred and Roman nodded

"There you are!" Ted called as he walked up to the pair and Roman's jaw tensed, last time he saw Ted was when Ryker had-

"I got him, thanks," Ted said, supporting Cody's weight now and Roman nodded and looked over to where Seth was standing with a heavily tattooed man

Almost like he could feel his gaze on him, Seth turned and looked at him and he gave Roman an excited wave and a megawatt smile, Roman smiled back as Seth began coming over to him

"Hey Rome! You came!" Seth said happily

"Yeah I uh decided that one night out wouldn't hurt, could use the loosening up," Roman said and Seth grinned and patted his chest
