Demetria's P.O.V.:

"You guys aren't going to actually leave me," I complain. "right?" I push the small hash browns, which are basically just fried potatoes, on my plate with my fork. I look up at all of the boys, begging them to take me with them.

"We're not having you go back to the school," Father says, putting down his cup of steaming black coffee. "Not until everything is settled."

"But you're letting Damian go!" I complain, pointing to my twin. "He was a part of everything too! But why am I the only one getting left out?!"

"Because," Father says, taking a bite of the hashbrown.

"Because?" I ask, wanting to hear a full explanation

Father stays silent, continuing to go through his newspaper while drinking his coffee.

I turn to Damian with a look of desperation. "Help me out, Dami! I don't wanna be stuck at home!"

"You're staying," he growls, drinking his orange juice.

"If you were planning on having me stay, then you might as well let me sleep in," I whine.

"We can't risk that," Father says.

"Why? There's nothing left for me to do!"

"It is because I won't be in the manor," Alfred says from behind the counter, drying his hands with a white towel.

"You're leaving me too!" I exclaim. "Is today 'Ditch Demetria Day'?! If you're going to ditch, at least let me in on it!"

"It's just one day, Demetria," Jason says, stuffing his mouth with pancakes. He points his fork at me as syrup begins to drip down the corners of his mouth. "You'll be fine. Besides, you might have fun today."

"Fun?" I ask. "What am I going to do in this large house with nothing but artifacts?"

"You have the whole library to yourself," Damian points out, putting a hashbrown in his mouth.

"Tch. I guess," I say. "But what else is there to do?"

"There's a piano in there too."

"We have a pool," Dick adds.

"We have a gym room," Jason says, stuffing more pancakes in his mouth.

"You can watch T.V.," Tim adds. "We have a theater room, and you have a television in your room. You can watch while you do some homework."

"We have a basketball court," Dick says, pointing his fork at me while chewing on a piece of pancake.

"There's a game room connected to our room," Damian points out.

"You can go to the Batcave," Jason says.

"No Batcave," Father quickly says, flipping a page in his newspaper.

"You can't go to the Batcave," he corrects.

"So I'm locked up in here," I conclude. "Until you all come back home?"

"Yup," Dick says, grabbing the small pitcher of maple syrup and pouring a heaping amount onto his pancakes.

"Are you all going to the Academy?"

"Yup," Jason says. "Gotta make sure that my 4 o'clock appointment actually worked."

"Did you actually go to their houses?!" Tim exclaims.

"Maybe."

"Jason!" he exclaims in anger. "And you didn't bring any of us?!"

"You didn't kill them, did you?" Father asks, lowering the newspaper.
