If you ask me
You shall receive
The truth.
Each question
Deserves an answer
Neither diluted
Nor exaggerated;
Neither half-hidden
Nor half expressed;
Nothing less than
The naked truth,
Sharp as a knife
Piercing and blinding;
Strong as a rock
Unchangeable over time;
You may overthink
Or reject it completely;
It may give you joy
Or sadden you much;
But if you ask
You shall have
Nothing but
The bare truth.
