Love isn't made of forevers,
No lifetimes together,
Nothing eternal.
Love is all about the present;
The butterflies in your stomach,
The feeling of perpetual euphoria,
The clouds around your head,
The smile plastered on your face,
The never ending conversations,
The comfortable silences,
The spring in your steps,
The endless daydreams,
Rainbows and unicorns,
Love is all about now.
Love can be as crazy as bungee jumping from Macau Tower
Or as calm as sitting by the window and reading your favourite titles,
Telling each other all about your day and those you met
Or your partner understanding that you need alone time,
Love can be ridiculous, love can be beautiful.
Dancing together till 5am and then skipping Office together,
Or working hard and supporting each other in silence.
With as many forms as shades in a painting
It's hard to define love for one and all,
But when it's love, you'll know, my love.
